"I was listening to a lot of songs that helped me on my reading journey, and I wanted to add to this list, because I was listening to the same five songs over and over again," says Tifford. "I just thought, 'What a great idea to list everyone's input on these songs that empowered them and made them feel strong.'"

"A big part of the playlist was that it was pulling music from a lot of other survivors to show that you're not alone," she says. "There are so many people who know what you're going through, these are the songs that helped them, and we're all in this together."
